    A vibrant stay with fine views

    The sunrise from our spacious room was amazing! The staff were consistently cute, and we enjoyed exploring nearby Viareggio on the hotel's rented bicycles.

    While the location is lively, the street noise could be disruptive at night, especially for light sleepers in lower-floor rooms.

    The breakfast spread has good yogurts and pastries to start your day off right.

    For a five-star hotel, it's surprising there's no gym or spa, and the interior rooms lack proper views, only showing walls. There's a sense of disappointment regarding the overall experience compared to what one expects from a hotel of this caliber, especially when basic amenities are missing.

    Grand old and exquisite accommodation with welcoming staff at the reception desk. Exceptionally comfortable bed, clean bathroom and a safe box, a mini-bar, and a sofa bed in the room. Outstanding view of the sea. Great and stunning location next to the bus station, in the very pleasant area.

    The Hotel enjoys an excellent location just across from the main promenade in Viareggio. The staff are friendly, helpful and efficient.The hotel offers a reduced fee to use the beach club opposite which gives you a parasol and 2 deckchairs as well as entry to any of their 5 swimming pools ranging from 1 metre to 1.80 metres in depth and therefore suitable for all ages from babies to pensioners.The hotel is situated at the southern end of a very long promenade which continues for miles into adjacent towns and is lined with boutiques and restaurants to suit every taste. Viareggio is also an excellent base for visiting other parts of Tuscany such as Florence, Lucca, Pisa and the Cinque Terre coastal villages.

    The Plaza boasts a nice seafront location on the main street of Viareggio, with a beautifully modernized interior. The rooms are spacious and well decorated, some even offering a sea view. The breakfast selection is excellent. Parking slots are available, which can be reserved in advance.

    Street noise can be intrusive at night.

    Thoroughly enjoyed our really comfortable stay here, would stay here again. Charming hotel with brilliant location on the lovely Tuscan Italian riviera, and the breakfast was gorgeous. Location: the venue was adjacent to the main boardwalk as well as the roof top restaurant which had panoramic views of the beach. Had nice dainties at Bar & Food Istelia, located close to the hotel. The public parking was nearby, helpful service. Got concierge service free of charge, not bad too...

    Extremely great and very kind staff members are at the reception desk. Magnificent location adjacent to the bus station square and pier-good for La Passegiata and the promenade and the sunsets, it's very central.

    The hotel was close to restaurants, the beach and shopping facilities. The foyer was inviting and our bedroom large compared to others we have stayed in whilst in Europe. Staff were very helpful. We have stayed at others hotels in Viareggio and found the Hotel Plaza e De Russie to be the best.

    The location is ideal, right near the

    Beachfront and close to vibrant local attractions. The staff were helpful and the facilities were well-maintained. There was a significant issue with a security deposit that was charged without prior discussion, which left a negative impression about their management.

    Very friendly and nice staff. Location near to the beach. Breakfastterrace with a beautiful view. Room with bath was very nice and clean.

    Room with view in the courtyard. The room was very noisy. The water jet in the shower was very low and so it was not easy to get all the sand from the beach off of the body and I was not able to wash my hair under the shower. But instead of the shower the faucet worked very well for that. Breakfast was nothing special, but ok.
